Responsible for all planning related activities for initially, the Hummingbird FPSO, from fit out in Rotterdam shipyard during construction to Sailaway, Hookup, Commissioning and eventually into production.
Once the Hummingbird platform was completed I then moved on to the Voyageur FPSO project and carried out the same planning work for that project, again from Rotterdam to anchoring in the North Sea. The planning tool used was MS Project and Maximo for maintenace.
Current Role
Working for Elf Enterprise Oil plc as Senior planner for the Claymore platform. Working in the Field operations department supervising a planner and a technical assistant. Work included maintenace, construction, production, safety, drilling and subsea work scopes. Production of detailed plans for all disciplines for major maintenance and engineering / construction work faces. The planning package utilised was Surtrak
Planner for the AH001 production platform which was a Hess asset. The work included all planning and logistic activities relating to the installation including Operations, Engineering, Maintenance, and Shutdown, utiising MS Project and Primavera P3.
Responsible for production of all engineering and shutdown plans for the Enterprise Oils Nelson platform. The planning package utilise was Controller for Oracle.
Working in the production and maintenance department for the Nelson platform producing 28 and 90 day plans utilising Artemis and Microsoft Project (for shutdown work)
To oversee a more realistic distribution of resources and man hours for all four of Shells Brent field platforms. This was done utilising Artemis and Shells own Integrated Maintenance Management System to produce a six year lookahead.
To oversee and aid in the development, updating and execution of detailed plans for plant construction works during the refinary Hydrocracker Rehabilitation (rebuild)Project, which included liasing with cost, procurement and other disciplines.
Rsponsible to the senior planner for production of networks, barcharts and various ancillary reports utilising Artemis for Shells Central Fields. This work included looking after logistics for personnel and materials for hookup, shutdown and major and minor contracts.
Worked as a technical author preparing detailed trip and alarm routines for all of Shells Northern North Sea installations which included offshore trips to liase with production and instrument techs.
