Starting as graduate engineer and ending as Section Engineer on Bridge works on road and motorway contracts

Working at Terminal 5, Heathrow, for the Track Transit Team. Responsible for M&E planning and co-ordination including costing, ensuring the exacting standards are met to the client’s, BAA, requirements. Producing installation/commissioning programmes

Working on several projects for LUL, Network Rail and others. Responsible for core planning, tenders and monitoring of on-going projects, producing bi-monthly reports, variations, contract extentions and costs

Working for a consultancy and agency at various sites through-out Europe and UK. Duties included preparation of preliminary programmes for the clients, evaluation of tender plans and also covering short term absences of client and contractor staff. Projects included textile, pharmaceutical and petro-chemical plants, development of planned maintenance and time sheet systems. Manual planning systems.

Working for a consultancy providing construction planning for industrial installations, including aluminium smelting plant, steel rolling mills, metal processing plants and production planning for pharmaceutical and petro-chemical industries.

Installation and maintenance of process control systems for steel smelting and rolling mills. Planning of production and maintenance systems.

Working on the station modernisation and re-furbishment for the whole of the Picadilly Underground line. Responsible for production and monitoring of all programmes, checking of plans, costs and production of numerous schedule and cost reports
