Producing master programme, progressing and working the plan, supervising 7 planners and assistants. Accommodating significant changes to scope and budget, rebaselining the programme annually.
Working as the Deputy Manager for the planning department, duties included responsibility for the day to day running of the department and full responsibility in the absence of the manager, allocation and co-ordination of work. Major projects included Thames Water Ring Main, desalination plant in Kuwait, power stations and oil rigs. Actively involved in assessment of tenders, submittals and project controls. Evaluation of various planning packages to upgrade the system

The supervision and motivation of Contract Managers, Supervisors and their staff.
Overall responsibility for the Co-ordination of the workforce, and logistics.
Responsible for the delivery of designated projects within the business. Providing Monthly Financial and Progress reports using KPI’s.
Identifying and Reviewing market opportunities and of new client base
Development of project bids/tenders including commercial/contract review of ITT.
Monitoring and assessment of company procedures.
Project management and delivery of multiple simultaneous, fibre optic cable projects under Outside Party procedures and deed of grant for Vodafone, BT and Global Crossing.
Development and control of project deliverables/requirements in accordance with CDM regs and Network Rail line/group standards. e.g. engineering files, health & safety, quality and environmental plans, risk analysis, finances and variations, possessions/protection, RIMINI method statements and KPI’s
Developing IRSE license, project management using Prince 2 procedures and planning through P3.
