Energy I was commissioned to re-organise the planning processes and merge two divisions into one so that they used standard process. There are over 80 planning staff located at 8 nuclear power stations, one coal fired station and three supporting business units throughout the UK.

The first task was to examine the existing processes and procedures, in addition a health check was carried out on the Primavera infrastructure, including a thorough assessment of data integrity and schedule integrity.

Secondments through Schofield Lothian from 2004 to 2009 included Colas Rail, Balfour Beatty, Amec Spie Rail and the BB Management Gas Allicance.

• Providing updates to P3e Near Term Work Plans for client reporting

• Amending and updating detailed schedules for integration into higher level plans

• Development of master schedule to reflect the correct scope of work
• Monitor progress, compute variance, update schedules and suggest remedial  actions
• Conduct regular meetings (weekly & monthly) & generate regular look-ahead plans including daily, weekly and two week look-ahead schedule in line with baseline schedule & stringent follow-up with construction managers and subcontractors regarding the hold points & areas of concerns to mitigate all issues
• Critical path analysis & Generate S curves
• Preparation of progress report (week

Employed by Cristal Global (formely Millennium Chemicals) since January 2000, have held various positions within maintenance dept. including workshop supervisor, became maintenance area planner in July 2007. Currently using SAP 7 and Microsoft project.

2001 to date  Alstom Power - Lead Planner for a number of years working on UK and overseas projects. From design & supply projects to major ’Turnkey’ Projects for the build of new gas and oil fired stations to Biomass co-firing projects and Capacity increase Projects. Experience of planning with coal power station projects.  Specific projects are Arnot Power Station Capacity Increase project (Euros 36.233M) in South Africa, Drax Power Station Biomass co-firing project (£48.28M).
