Project Manager - New Product Introduction 

Responsibilities

Introduced various data storage hardware devices and software to the manufacturing line. Managed Software Engineering Change requests on to manufacturing line. Supported transition and confirmation of compliance of hardware to RoHS (Restriction of Hazardous Substances) and WEEE (Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment).

Started as an Assistant Planner and did most of my training in house, shadowing other planners.

I attended various courses that were external to the company, Primavera, NEC3, Introduction to APM.

I was promoted to Planner in May 2014 and was assigned to the project I am still currently working on.  The company introduced EVM 2years ago so I have had the challenge of learning this and also teaching the engineering team, that i work for, the principles of EVM.

Contracted to provide management of back office tasks and administration for EDF Energy's 3 main alliance arrangements; Project Management Reporting, Managed Service and Technical Support Alliance, valued in excess of £75M per year

I am a motivated and dynamic transport professional, with 19 years experience in a range of  project management, planning, control  and engineering positions within Project Delivery and Operations. Project Planner:

Accountable to the Prject Manager for service and to the Head of Profession for standards;

Assist Project Managers in conducting interactive planning sessions, capturing output to form the basis of project plans

Produce level 3 and 4 schedule for Project Managers

Maintain integrity of schedules through compliance and procedures, e.g change control

Maintain alignment of schedules in the schedule hierarchy to ensure absolute linkage
