Cost report generaton, maintenance and updates

Sets up cost control system, monitors and controls costs and schedules on contracts requiring validated cost schedule control system. Performs analyses and prepares reports in order to ensure that contracts are within negotiated and agreed-upon parameters and government cost control guidelines. Prepares budgets and schedules for contract work and performs and/or assists in financial analyses such as funding profiles, sales outlook, and variance analysis. Prepares program plans to ensure program requirements and statement of work are captured and scheduled.

As a Project Controls Manager, I was responsible for overall Project Control for the Home Office & job sites on assigned projects.  Projects included the construction of a Silicon Polyreaction facility in Butte, MT., and Resource Recovery Facilities in Camden NJ, Hudson Falls, NY and Robbins, IL. Petrochemical expansions for Ashland Oil in Cattlesburgh KY, Fina Oil in Port Arthur TX, Maraven in Cardon, Venezuela, and Uno-Ven in Lemont IL.  Cost Control is provided using J.D.

My background is as a Chartered Quantity Surveyor but with extensive experience in delay analysis, project turnaround, strategic dispute management and resolution.

My approach to delay analysis is a common sense, presentation of facts and analysis, supplemented by clear narrative and graphics to demonstrate entitlement, clearly identifying compensable elements, which are correctly incorporated into commercial and legally demonstrated claim statements.
