Senior Project Controls Specialist / Senior Planner

• As a member of the project team, prepare schedule, monitored performamnce, and reported forecasts, trends, and scope change orders; assembled progress measurement reports; prepared cost and status reports for both internal and external client's use on TransCanada; Nalcor; Nexen; SAIT; SaskPower; Agrium; CNRL; KXL projects and Shell Alliance projects.
• Project work with the Power Business Unit; Shell Alliance and Pipeline Systems.

Estimator (Self-Employed Contractor)

• As an estimator, provided estimating support to Small Projects as per North West Redwater Partnership discretion. Coordinate and compile inputs from planners, vendors, and contractors to support the AFE's. Assemble progress measurement reports (i.e. cost curves) to be presented to NWR for review.
• Short term contract as per agreement with NWR in providing required eastimating and report requirements.

Planning High Rise Buildings, Industrial Commercial and Hospitals. Civil works for waste water, ports and marine works.

Worked as a Project Planner in various projects upto $60 Million including: Low to High End Residential Houses, Remote/Urban Community Housing, Multi-storied Residential and Mixed Use Apartment Buildings, Office Buildings, Shopping Centres, Commercial Warehouse, Sheds, Police Stations, Hospitals, Clinics, Aged Care Facilities, Cultural Centres, Student Accommodation Buildings, Ambulance Depots, Fire Stations,  Community Housing, Educational Facilities including Primary, Secondary Schools, College, University Buildings, Solar Carpark, Golf Course, Mine Site Road.

Responsible for the preparation of project budgets, monitoring their execution and controlling their real costs.

Responsible for leading the quotes team (12 people, quotes department and budgets department) to managing the projects defining and controlling their scope, cost and execution time.

Responsible for the preparation of metered and basic engineering drawings. Reported to the project engineer.
