Adelaide Desalination Project

The AdelaideAqua D&C is a multi-national consortium comprising of McConnell Dowell Constructors, Abrigroup Contractors, Acciona Agua and United Utilities which was awarded the $1.8 Billion contract to Desgin, Build, Operate and Maintain the Adelaide Desalination Plant over 25 years.

Worked as an Intake and Outfall System Planner to build new 100 GL/year Desalination plant in Adelaide - $860million D & C contract.
Scope of work for Intake and Outfall system includes the Design and Construction of:
- The seawater Intake/Outfall tunnels (1.4km & 1.1km long, internal diameter of 2.8m) and structures (cross connection risers), and pipelines
- The intake pumping station
- Outfall Shaft
