Senior Planning Engineer

• Overseeing the preparation and maintenance of the Project Schedule in P6 and MS Project.
• Leading the monitoring, reviewing, and analysis of the schedule and status of our Contractors during all phases of the project, including the analysis of any schedule deviations and corrective actions
• Reviewing contractor P6 schedules provided in Primavera and ensure contractor plans are realistic and achievable
• Analyzing progress manpower and commodity information to support effective project management

Responsible for the production of cost and resource loaded plans on the Tubelines Limited Station Refurbishment Programme. , monitoring progress against programme throughout the project lifecycle, and producing reports for use by both the project teams and senior management on the current London Underground Station Modernization Programme on the Piccadilly Line.

Input the planning issues into project critical issues risk log.

Key Responsibility Areas:

• Develop the 16-week Rolling Programme at Level 4

• Develop the 5-week Rolling Programme (Work Plan Level 5)

• Provide inputs to the weekly progress report and 4-weekly Period Progress Review Report, including current performance indicators and analysis derived from quantified progress / actual labour hours / actual costs inputted on to the PMP, identifying any significant schedule and costs variances to be explained / further investigated.  Also report on the stat

Duties & Responsibilities

• Assist Area Manager/Project Engineer in development of Level 4/5 detailed construction Schedule.
• Monitor Level 4/5 Schedule implementation and generate out-of-sequence activity report.
• Directly responsible to the Planning & Controls Manager in maintaining the Primavera P6 Construction Schedule on site.
• Monitor, analyse and review program performance outcomes for area of responsibility and recommend corrective action where necessary.
• Gather construction progress data inputs and reports from Area M
