Secondment to Metronet - the management contractor working in an alliance to carry out works to 140 stations on the London Underground Limited (LUL) Network. Value £1.4 billion.

Current Role: Senior Planner at J P Kenny, Aberdeen working on BP North Sea Projects

Currently employed as Project Planner in the York Rail office of Atkins Ltd., working on bid and project programmes, including Peterborough Lineside Renewals; Signalling enhancements on West Coast Main Line routes and Birmingham International; Telecomms FTN cable and route surveys; and Multi-discipline work on Kettering South track reinstatement, Birmingham New Street, Edinburgh Waverley, and Nuneaton Chord.

East London Line Extension. Value £360 million for Transport for London. Upgrade and extension of the existing East London Line Railway. Responsible for the construction planning for 2 of the 3 sections. Work included civil structures, depot construction, permanent way, signalling, telecoms & power.

• For J&M Project Management Services, performing a site-based planning function for the successful completion of the ‘ESKOM Gas1’ Project (5 new Open-Cycle 150MW Gas Turbine Generators) at Ankerlig Power Station in the Western Cape of South Africa.
• Creating detailed schedules for various aspects of the above project i.e.

Working as as Senior Planner on a variety of interesting jobs largest of which was the Union Square Shopping Mall in Aberdeen.

• Participate in 7 projects, 5 foreign projects and 3 involved from detail design to mechanical completion.
• The planning and scheduling methodology is a high level of proficiency for EPC project.
• Advances planning experience for various project was referred to industrial pharmaceutics, petrochemical and chemical building etc.
• Skill in schedule software tools by using P3~6 and Microsoft Project/Excel etc.

Responsible for development of detailed plans, networks and programmes for surface and sub-surface construction, NATM and bored tunnelling activities, and mechanical and electrical systems installations and commissioning works.



Responsible for ongoing development of project control and cyclic progress reporting & change control systems. The network manager for the programming / structure coding of infrastructure and system installation and commissioning works.
