Planner / Coordinator – Glen Eyre KLM, Southampton (traditional contract with CDPs):

Appointed to plan the £16m refurbishment and extensions to three 3-storey student accommodation buildings. Each had a steel framed single storey roof extension to provide a further floor of accommodation, and a concrete frame / blockwork and PC floor constructed 4-storey extension to the front.

The role involved the planning and monitoring of the design, procurement and construction processes from site start onwards.

Senior Planner – Castlepoint, Bournemouth (design and build contract):

Planned the completion of this £70m design and build retail development, as well as monitoring and reporting progress.

I also did short term planning to remedy localised problems, which were planned out using drawings, method statements and localised programme production in Power Project.

Section Planner – TAG McLaren Paragon Project, Woking (design and build contract):

Planned the completion of this £250m office, research and development centre for the McLaren F1 team, Merce

  • Monitor and review key performance indicators to benchmark individual & collective project performance, Implement schedule controls including management of float, earned value and critical paths.
  • Analyse and study problem areas to determine criticality of schedule activities.
