Responsibilities and tasks:

Prepare Construction schedule based on the WBS agreed with Project Group and Discipline Coordinators

Assist the Discipline Coordinators in identifying and scheduling in detail the operations required for Project execution and completion

Request, collect and analyse, with the cooperation of the Project Group, the man-hours estimate for the Project and the resource plan prepared by the various departments.

Reported status at monthly senoir stakeholder meeting.

Utilised Primavera, Active Risk Manager (ARM) and Pertmaster software tools.

Author and reviewer for programme documentations including the Project Management Plan and Project Technical Requirements documents.

Started as an Assistant Planner and did most of my training in house, shadowing other planners.

I attended various courses that were external to the company, Primavera, NEC3, Introduction to APM.

I was promoted to Planner in May 2014 and was assigned to the project I am still currently working on.  The company introduced EVM 2years ago so I have had the challenge of learning this and also teaching the engineering team, that i work for, the principles of EVM.

Contracted to provide management of back office tasks and administration for EDF Energy's 3 main alliance arrangements; Project Management Reporting, Managed Service and Technical Support Alliance, valued in excess of £75M per year

·          Developing Reporting System using JIRA and Excel to keep Committee informed of Program progress.
