Lead Project Planner

• To develop, interpret, operate and monitor all relevant programmes for the Mitsui Babcock site team such that the contract can be controlled within budget and duration.
• To produce all necessary programmes to reflect the overall contract requirements, ensuring all site engineers are advised of the contract key dates to be achieved and are being routinely monitored.
• To liaise with the Client to record progress and establish reporting procedures throughout the contract duration enabling accurate progress claims to be submitted.
• To ensure that progress is monitored

• Prepare resourced shutdown programme from client SAP generated work orders (WO).
• Update & maintain WO database and all associated WO documentation.
• Produce progress ‘S’ curves and resource histograms.
• To liaise with client on all aspects of work pack development and approval.

• Review and update all project fabrication scope utilising in house resources and facilities to enable management to maintain staffing continuity and production efficiency.
• Maintain & update fabrication progress for offsite projects at ConocoPhillips Humber Refinery and UK Interconnector at Bacton.
• Review and Develop level 2 programs for Tender Work along with projected resourcing levels.
• Review and develop program, all planning progress trackers and contractual documentation for ConocoPhillips VOC Recovery Project, Teesside.

Impala Platinum No. 20 Shaft (RSA)- Full E.P.C.M. Project [Involvement: August 2007 to Present]

I was involved in all the planning of this project: compromising of the Surface common and complex infrastructure works as well as the Normal sinking of two shafts (Main and Ventilation). All development (Incline and Decline), all underground construction works as well as the changeover to an operational mine. (Reef has been hoisted from both dips).

Impala Platinum No. 18 Shaft (RSA)– Bankable Feasibility Study (B.F.S) [Involvement: April 2011 to October 2011]

I was involved in setting up the B.F.S. schedule in coordinating all stakeholders involved in preparing their reports and studies. This also included the setting up of the Forecast schedule and the C.B.E. (Cost Budget Estimate) for the project. The shaft is very similar to Impala 17# however it is going to a depth of ±2km which is slightly deeper, making Impala 18# a larger mine per ton.

Wesizwe Frischgewaagd Ledig Project Platinum (RSA) – Full E.P.C.M Project [Involvement: August 2011 to Present]

The project is very similar to Impala 20# however conventional mining will be used.  The Project is in its early work construction stages.  I have been involved in setting up the schedule, cash flow, C.B.E. and all round planner functions for the Mine.

Production of overall integrated P3 plans for the project to ensure optimum project completion, KPI and milestone achievement.

Overview and monitoring all projects for Engineering requirements.

Development and production of monthly reports to Senior Management.

Creation of Design Authority programmes for Minor Alterations, Additions, Case for Continued operation, Standards, Operational Procedures, Work Instructions.

Development of WBS, Schedule and KPIs for AP1000 project.

Accurately identifying, controlling & forecasting / reporting timescales and resource requirements.
