Current Role:

Lead planning Engineer to the Industrial and Energy works department

Completed a €189.000.000 230 MW combined cycle power plant (CCGT) project in Cyprus (phase III, Unit4) and are in the final commissioning stages of Phase IV, Unit5 (230MW CCGT worth €230m) and working on the newly awarded phase IV Unit6 (230MW worth €230.000.000), a 60MW PV park, as well as several tenders in the Power Generation and Oil & Gas sectors

Planning & scheduling:

)  Currently working on Road/Bridge Project (Contract Value: 201 Million SAR / 1.70 Million Man-hours) with BECHTEL as Consultant and Royal Commission as Client, in Jubail Industrial Area-1.

2)  Worked on Five Bridge / Under Pass Projects for Dammam City (Contract Value 620 Million SAR).

RESPONSIBILITIES

Lead Planning Engineer for the Dounreay site on behalf of DSRL.  Ensure compliance in all planning areas to the requirements set by the NDA, critical path analysis, portfolio managemenent and reporting to the client and senior team.  Advise the senior management team on potential savings and way forward.  Run scenarios on funding proposals.  Intelligent customer for the planning software, Primavera.  Write and own the guidance for planning on the site and the rules and tools utilised.

Project Controls ( Planning ) Lead.

Lead Planning Engineer reporting to the Project Manager, Planning Manager and Commercial Manager.Responsible for the overall planning input and requirements at construction stage.Integration of all Nominated subcontractors’ programme to the Master programme. Preparation and maintenance of the project as-built programme and close out schedule. Monitors progress of the works against the contractual schedule.Responsible in preparation of daily,weekly and monthly progress reports to client ,consultant and to internal Head Office.

• Overseeing the preparation and maintenance of the Project Schedule in P6 and MS Project.
• Leading the monitoring, reviewing, and analysis of the schedule and status of our Contractors during all phases of the project, including the analysis of any schedule deviations and corrective actions
• Reviewing contractor P6 schedules provided in Primavera and ensure contractor plans are realistic and achievable
• Analyzing progress manpower and commodity information to support effective project management

 Ensuring the established planning and schedule methodology is fulfilled as in the developing project schedules.

 Managing contractor performances and to ensure they compliance with the established scheduling methodology.

 Planning and coordinating the schedule development process.

 Supporting the development of the Work Breakdown Structure to enhance project delivery.

 Developing project milestones and progress tracking baselines.

 Supporting schedule risk analysis and schedule contingency determination.
