Since I graduated in Civil Engineering in September 1975 I occupied different positions in Construction and Engineering companies, and in a Concrete Precast Plant

I had the roles of Resident Engineer, Inspector, Plant Manager, Civil Engineering Design Division Manager and Construction and Project Manager. I worked in the building construction industry, both at multisory buildings and urbanism and massive unifamiliar housing projects. Also I worked in industrial projects al the civil and industrial works arena

For estimating, planning, scheduling, construction management and cost engineering for a General Contractor on residential and commercial projects that ranged from $10K to $2 million

Los Angeles Unified School District, School Bond BB Repair. Worked as a Construction Manager on the LAUSD School Bond BB Repair program. Directly managed repair and renovation of fourteen school sites valued at $22M.  Projects included modernization, air-conditioning, new electrical service, safety and technology, playground resurfacing, painting, flooring, lighting, plumbing and electrical packages.

The Lower Pieman Dam is a 1.75 million cubic metre concrete faced rock fill dam on the West Cost of Tasmania. In charge of the construction of the dam as the project drew to completion. Commenced as site engineer in charge of the construction of the spillway. Over a period of two years promoted Senior Site Engineer. Responsible for all construction activities, with four engineers and 400 men on site. Gained experience in the following construction activities; roads, bridges, reinforced concrete, slipforming, grouting and bulk earthworks.
