Area Planning Manager

Reporting to the Project Sponsor, I have responsibility as the Planning Manager/Consultant to produce and manage the readiness/delivery programme for a major London train operating company (TOC) for the London 2012 Olympics.

This involves producing a detailed Primavera programme with key workstreams and deliverables from all the internal stakeholders, production and management of a risk matrix and escalating key issues to senior management, production of a dashboard report, EV reporting, liaison with key external stakeholders, managing client expectations, expediting

1. Provide planning, schedulling and project controls for heavy construction projects.
2. Progress follow up & evaluation of KPI's
3. Attain progress reports and schedule updates
4. Change management, Time & Cost Claims management.

All PQQ, Tender, Construction Programmes for the South West Region

Develop and monitor in weekly basis the North West integrated Schedule for the West Coast Railway Modernization Project  (2,5 billion £).

Experience and the majority of types of construction project, including: Residential, Commercial (Office Blocks), Retai (individual units and 'live' Shopping Centres, Multi-storey Car Parks, a new build Opera House, a PGA standard 18-hole Golf Course and facilities, a District Cooling Plant, Marinas (both built in the 'wet' and 'dry', Hospitals. laboratory facilities, a Convention Centre, Infrastructure services, Reads and Motorways and Bridges

Working as their Planning Manager in the Infrastructure division. Responsible to oversee the projects under way and also to prepare construction schedule and other documents required for Tendering for new jobs.

Managing the Planning of both tenders & projects , extensive experience in large dirty water schemes ( £100m+)

Now planning both bids and managing project execution for highway schemes under the HA S&SE framework contract

Also assisting on start up on Walton Bridge project, now finally underway after 5 years of enquiries, funding issues etc

Planning / Senior Planning manager with a construction JV which built the iconic YAS Marina F1 racetrack in Abu Dhabi

Key Accountabilities

§  Working as part of the Station Modernisation and Enhancement Project (SMEP)

§  Duties include planning, managing and controlling cost resources.

§  Strategic analysis of Whole life Asset Management for Metronet assets

§  Risk and Trend/Change Control using Monte Carlo/ARM

§  Strategic Management of Metronet Cost and Programme Schedule
