Roads / Tunnel / Bridge

I am a corporate scheduler for a company in North Carolina. I have been using the P6 program for 6 years now, but do not yet have the knowledge i feel i should, and have alot to learn. The 2 previous companies i have worked for, never had a master scheduler to help teach me, nor did they track any type of expenses, load resources as it should be done or use the report functions. I'm going to need lots of help.  :)

Duties and Responsibilities

Develop NDRRA 2014 and 2015 Event Controls Management Plan, including forecasting framework, schedule templates and progress measurement

Assist districts to develop delivery schedules for reconstruction projects

Assist districts to establish an achievable program baseline

Develop and maintain project, district and program reporting on time, cost and progress measurement

Monitor project and program performance via developed reporting tools including dashboards, baseline variance reports and physical damage metric tracking (kilometres, structures, earthworks)

• Supporting the delivery of this $6.9 billion road rectification through the development of planning and scheduling processes
• Monitoring and maintenance of the Integrated Program Master Schedule
• Completion of regular reviews to ensure compliance to the system by the regional offices
• Advising controllers on use of best practice to mitigate and manage projects and any issues related to site work
• Contribute to increasing the level of maturity in the department's control sector
• Control Framework Developement

I work in a Construction Management & Contract Services consultancy.  My specialty is forensic planning and construction claims.
