O'Connell and Lawrence, Inc. is a civil engineering firm that works for Government and Private owners, legal firms, and contractors throughout the United States.  We provide construction scheduling review services to Government owners, primarily.  We also provide claim preparation and claim defense services to owners, lawyers, and contractors.

Contract Planner for Arcadis on the HS2 DJV Stage 1 C3 Civil Engineering Scheme Design Programme and the DJV Stage 2 Critical Utilities Detailed Design Programme.  Organised and chaired the DJV Utilities Programme team meetings and attended weekly client Programme Integrity meetings.  Submitted monthly programme updates to EK’s Project Controls team and performed strict activity logic maintenance to ensure the accuracy of the key IDR, UIDR and UFDR dates in both the Civil Engineering and Utilities programme.

Prepared and maintained the master schedule of North-West T-way project • supported area managers preparing progress reports, trending charts, cash flow and schedule analysis • assessed project changes and potential impacts on cost and schedule • prepared the monthly project status reports for NSW Roads and Traffic Authority

Responsible for leading the planning and project controls function for the $16 billion regional program including major transport and maritime infrastructures • led and coordinated the project assurance function, in line with INSW and TfNSW requirements • ensured efficient and effective monitoring and management of the project office’s project controls and support compliance and assurance activities • coordinated audit programs and requirements for the Project Management Office, across financial and non-financial disciplines
