Without wishing to sound boastful I feel that I came with a background that is unique and distinctive. Working as an Assistant Project Manager (Civil Works) in Lahore Development Authority with contract administration of different projects enhances the true concepts of project life cycle, on-site surveillance & off-site surveillance of construction works. Apart from that; been working as a Junior Site Engineer on bridge project, I am familiarized with a range of bridge engineering concepts that meliorate my professional vision & knowledge.

I am an Australian engineer who has over 30 years of professional experience working on large and mega construction projects in building, rail, infrastructure, civil and O&G sectors in Australia, UAE and Egypt.

Over my career, I have worked for two employers; CRC-Dorra for 18 years and Laing O’Rourke from 2004 to date.

Currently, I am working for Laing O’Rourke Australia as the Project Controls Lead on the Woolgoolga to Ballina Pacific Highway Upgrade - A$4.9bn. I have a team of five staff direct reports in addition to five functional report.

• Detailed experience in the field of Civil and Structural work in Port, Railway, Sewage Treatment Plant, Residential, commercial & Industrial buildings.
• General civil work which includes site grading, roads and paving, culverts, U/G & surface drainage, retaining wall, underground pits, pump house, Jetty etc.
• Rate Analysis and Quantity Estimation for various projects..
• Review of all kinds of drawings.

An Engineer with over 9 years of experience on Project Planning and Project Cost Control on Major Highways, Bridges and Infrastructure projects.

Currently at Al Naboodah as Senior Planning Engineer, working on a major residential infrastructure development project in Jebel Ali.
