Design and construction of major upgrade works to two London Underground District Line depots. These were multi-discipline construction projects required to facilitate maintenance and stabling of the new S7 rolling stock.
Tottenham Court Road Station Upgrade – Project Manager
Senior / Lead planner with 20 years of experience in oil & gas, railway / infrastructure, heavy construction engineering, shipbuilding / ship refits, and plant shutdowns projects for government and private-sector clients. Experience includes supervising crews of up to 20 on various projects, demonstrating supervisory skills and excellent interpersonal skills enabling successful liaison with other groups. Detailed knowledge of earned value and earned value analysis, trade background.
Responsible for the detailed scheduling of activities for the Tangara Technology Upgrade for Sydney Trains.
Specific Responsibilities
¨ Prepare baseline schedule for submission to Transport for New South Wales for approval.
¨ Develop and amend Engineering Schedule to reflect engineering deliverables.
I have been working in Construction Management on New York City projects for the last 30 years, and before that worked for 6 years building Oil Refineries and Chemcial Plants as a Journeyman Steamtfitter.
I performed delay and quantum analyses and was a subject matter expert in the assessment (using Primavera P6), quantification and development of contractual claims (including extension of time, delay, acceleration and disruption) arising on the project related to bulk earthworks, civil works, underground services and above ground civil and structural works.
My consultancy, Project Visibility Ltd, provides programme & projects planning services to major engineering & construction projects. Currently for Balfour Beatty Rail Civil Projects and other industrial clients. In 2012 I provided planning & controls expertise on infrastructure improvements for an oil company in Nigeria. For more than 5 years I provided a range of planning services, both strategic & detailed, to National Grid in the UK on both electricty & gas projects.
