KLG Systel Limited Project Controls Manager

KLG were the sole representatives of PRIMAVERA in India and provided training and consultancy to large Organizations in the field of project management.



I worked as Manager - Project Management with the company and was deputed to I.R.C.O.N. INTERNATIONAL LTD., New Delhi as a consultant to establish systems to plan & monitor their large scale infrastructure projects using Primavera such as “Electrification of Delhi Metro Corridor” of approx. cost Rs. 2500 million and “Jammu & Kashmir Rail Link Project" of approx. cost Rs. Rs. 10,560 million.

Lead and supervise the Central Scheduling team for day to day Deliverables. Participates in weekly / monthly coordination meeting with the consortium partner as well as clients. Supervise the submission of the Monthly Progress Report package to the client. Involve in planning decision and leads the team for Acceleration Program submission amounting to US$200 M to the client.

•Assist Project Management in detail clarification of ongoing issues including confidential issues (“Sub-Projects within the Project”)

•Assist in managing the process of developing integrated strategic and operational plans for the project

•Assistance in preparation of presentations for strategic issues and phase transition proposals at decision committees such as Steering Committees

  • Seconded to MMC-Gamuda J.V (Employer Representative) to establish fully integrated design and Construction program for System Works and liaise with Systems Main Contractors on interface key dates with lists of requirements
  • Assist Planning Manager to establish and implement project controls for Systems Works Contract
  • Coordinate with civil planners and produced a fully integration programme with Primavera P6
  • Established baseline works program for Systems and review with the Project Manager and the Systems Contractors if any anomalies

•Review contract drafts to ensure adequacy of engineering schedule requirements within these contracts. Co-ordinates development of all data forming approved contract costs to support project schedule.

•Manage the process of reviewing and approving all Contractors submitted schedules.

•Develop and maintain the project master schedule and schedule hierarchy

•Manage the preparation of scheduling presentations for the PMC, Yong-In LRT Co., and Contractors as required

•Prepare Schedule reporting formats for routine project reports to the owner and the Korean government.
