Employed to develop & maintain lifetime schedules & estimates for a portfolio of projects (5) initiated to treat Uranium Bearing Material to allow safe release. This involves developing partner schedules & getting buy in from both internal & external stakeholders during the concept design phase. I also develop & monitor plans / resources on 4 related enabling projects involving both control system amendments & developing handling rigs for nuclear fuel handling.
Employed to develop & monitor the resource loaded schedule for the 7 phases of the project, total value £75M. I undertook the role in parallel with the AXIOM role. Prior to this I led the bid (cost & schedule) for the ITER Detritiation project (€6.5M).
Employed to develop systems & procedures to manage & report Earned Value indices, costs & EACs across the AXIOM Design Services Alliance (DSA – to Sellafield) portfolio (£70m per annum). This includes: -
· Development of guidelines & templates on how local & portfolio reporting is to be undertaken.
· Control / development & policing of the project reporting system.
Employed to lead a small team delivering mechanical handling solutions for lifting nuclear materials for AWE projects in France. Additionally I ensured that nuclear tenders delivered from the Warrington office were robust both financially & technically & met the client’s requirements.
I am extremely pro-active & hard working & have been working in Portfolio Planning & Project Management, managing projects & portfolios for a number of clients within the nuclear, energy & utilities sectors. I seek a management or senior planning position (or hybrid of both) where I am able to use my drive & commitment to ensure accurate & concise project delivery & control, supported by a dedicated team with similar aims.
Employed initially to put together a detailed schedule for the entire portfolio from design (2011) through to construction / commissioning & then retrievals (around 2018).
