The aim of this role was to set up and implement the programme management processes required for one of National Grid's electricity alliances.
Planning Manager; In this role my responsibility was to set up a planning team to support the "client side" following National Grid's decision to move away from the "Alliance model" This included setting up the planning processs, documenting the policies and resourcing the team
Part of a team responsible for undertaking a strategic review of National Grids end 2 end work and outage planning proces.
Deliverables included:,new high level end 2 end business process; producing the detailed planning process; interfacing with strategy and delivery sub processes.
Design, development and production of a system to baseline maintenance activities covering the work associated with 1600 people undertaking electricity transmission maintenance activities.
Major Projects PMO manager.
Responsible for the development and implementation of PMO processes to support National Grids UK portfolio of major projects.
Supporting the Senior Project Manager (SPM is the internal customer) to deliver a programme of works. Providing assurance back to the business that the programme isn't being delivered.
