Project - Montalban Methane Recovery and Electricity Generation Project (Power Plant)



Responsibilities:



-Initiate, identify and prepare notices and claims on projects

-Prepares Material take-off for Civil, Structural, Architectural, Plumbing and Electrical Works

-Prepare Commercial reports on the project or the Project Manager

-Prepare subcontract inquiries and ensure that necessary client requirements are inclusive in the subcontract document

-Prepare, submit and agree with client’s timely monthly payment applications and billings

CHUANDONGBEI SOUR GAS PROJECT. Phase 1: relocate part-completed 3-train onshore gas plant, finish off sulphur plant & develop the gathering system. Phase 2: greenfield block development comprising subsurface, gas gathering, gas purification, export & sulphur pelletisation. Phase 3: develop new field, add 2 process trains to phase 1 plant.

Current Role

Project Controls Engineer/Estimator - responsible for the preparation of equipment and labor cost estimation. Involved in the preparation equipment cost comparison and detailed evaluation estimate, as well as manhour analysis. It also involved in the preparation of equipment estimating report, equipment calibration and inputs to proposals, basic, and detailed engineering project. Proposals and projects included:

- Detailed estimate for Dual Feed Cracker Unit Project Proposal, ONGC, Dahej, Gujarat, India.

Project Site Planning Engineer - grassroots 1,300 kTA Ethylene Plant, Eastern Petrochemical Co (SHARQ), Jubail, Saudi Arabia. Responsible for various planning and scheduling activities mainly on Electrical and Instrument (E&I) Engineering and Construction progress. This includes preparing and producing schedule using P3 Primavera Planning Software, coordinating and setup various E&I schedule (Motor test run for pumps), substation, emergency building construction progress, instrument analyzer house construction, instrument loops testing and functional testing progress.

Project Controls Engineer - grassroots EBSM plant project, Dow/The Kuwait Styrene Company, Shuaiba, Kuwait. Responsible for coordination between Project Controls, Project Management, Engineering in developing and maintaining the cost control system. Involved in the preparation of Client’s monthly progress reports, manhour reports, cost analysis and evaluation. Prepared manhour progress report as part of the project cost engineering and time-booking control, Client progress report, cost and manhour forecast analysis at project completion for the Client.

Current Role

Creation and update of the Project WBS within each individual project using the company standard template.

Ensuring that all Key Milestones within the Project Plan adhere to the CSL Process Timeline.

Ensuring that all relevant activities within the WBS are correctly coded, resourced and logically linked.

Ensuring that for each project, Planned & Actual costs are allocated initially at a WBS Summary level and updated on a monthly basis.

Progress monitoring & update of each individual project on a weekly basis.
