Current Role
Reporting directly to the planning manager, I am responsible for development, progression and improvement of the project control programme on the B181.1 (B30) Sludge Conditioning project based at Sellafield. This includes a cost and programme impact monitoring and reporting service to support and deliver the project schedule as defined in our clients (Sellafield Ltd) procedures. My responsibilities included:
Responsible to the project lead planner I provided a formal British Nuclear Group planning and scheduling service. This includes a cost and programme impact monitoring and reporting service to support and deliver the project LTP & NTWP as defined in the NDA procedures. My responsibilities included:
• Liaison with the project managers & engineers in supporting the creation & development of their integrated working plans and near term work plan schedules.
• Cost, resource and expense loading of the same.
Responsible to the project manager for the provision of engineering and project control programme(s) in line with both internal and client issued procedures and requirements to delivery a gas recirculation station. My responsibilities included:
• Liaison with the engineering leads, manager and project manager to create and develop their integrated working plans.
• Assessing and reporting the cost, resource, and schedule impacts associated with emergent and additional project works.
Responsible to the Site Programme Controls Manager, for the provision of a formal British Nuclear Group Change Control process and a decommissioning planning and scheduling service. This includes a cost and programme impact monitoring and reporting service to support and deliver the site LCBL & NTWP as defined in the NDA procedures. My responsibilities included:
• Liaison with project managers in supporting the development of their integrated working plans and near term work plan schedules.
· Developing detailed project schedules with cost loading and ensure consistency with contract documents (Conditions of Contract, Specifications, Bill of Quantities, Drawings, …)
· Identifying the major milestones, critical approvals and long lead procurement items
· Analysing gaps between the planned and actual progress and highlight the areas of concerns which required action of the associate task member.
Been working for this company for almost 3 years on a monthly contract. Really looking out for something more long term or permanent. I know MS Projects 2003-2007 ass well as Primavera P6. Do all planning in Excel before I import to Projects and Primavera update only from Excel as I get a better and Faster result. Projects are always finished on time can act as Project Leader. Currently Studying PMP Internasional Diploma In Project Management.
