Planning Engineer for the following projects.

•     Steel Structure & Equipment installation for QASCO HBI/ DRI plant, Mesaieed.

•     Refurbishment of Desalination Plant 3,4,5 & 6 for Qatar Electricity& Water Company., Ras Abu Fontas

Worked as Operations officer in LPG plant, handling two production lines. Job involves manpower planning, planning of truck loads upon a month, product planning, inventory management, SQC of production, cold and hot repair of cylinders, scrap management, consumables procurement and stocking, plant maintenance.

Worked as a project engineer in commissioning and start up team of new refinery. Took active part in document review, preparation of quality action plans for erection and commissioning of equipment, hydro test of all exchangers, mechanical checks of piping, steam blowing, spare codification, association to equipment,assessment, quality checks upon receipt.

I am working as Planning engg for past 12 months. Handled 8 shutdowns so far by planning, scheduling and controlling them using Planning software(MS Project). Planning and management of resources centrally for whole refinery.

•     Pre-Budget approvals and post Cost / CWIP control.

•     Documentation control and Project Close Out procedures.

•     Control of site works for utility & facility installations of over 50 major contracts.

•     Board strategy approval backup calculations for cost and time.

•     All project stage gate controls as per BP Standards.

•     Enforcing HSSE adherence as per BP standards.

•     Handling Claims from Insurance.

     Handling of Individual projects which required leading a project team, monitoring expertise in assembly, testing and commissioning;

     Project Procurement & Planning;

     Billing and office procedures according to ISO;

     Implemented engineering level changes by coordinating with erection and commissioning team;

     Provided regular customer support by regular organized meetings with the clients regarding the progress of the projects;
