1. Understand work scope, quantity and familiar with logical sequences in terms of engineering, manufacturing and construction disciplines.
2. Conduct field scoping to clarify scope as required.
3. Understand WBS structure , and work with management and project/maintenance team  in the development of work break down structure for progress measurement, scheduling ,cost estimating and project control.

Planning Engineer (on site) - Responsible for:

(1) planning and scheduling activities related toan earth dam construction (which belongs to VALE – very large global mining company);

(2)liaising and coordinating with on-site personnel to achieve continuous improvement in meeting quality, environmental, health and safety requirements;

Supporting role to senior planner.

Assisted with developement of various reports for various stakeholders.

Updating and maintaining of programme, QMR and other KPI reports.

Assist with weekly progress reporting.

Provide project team with data and information as requested.

Role was to create, implement and maintain a schedule and tracking system using P6 and excel database for 750,000 hours of estimated work in mehcanical,electrical and piping trade jurisdictions.

Wiriting Job Plans based on equipment hierarchy list per OEM recommendations and input from site maintenance.

Creating Work Procedures and PM's based on Job Plans, with routes for inspection and lubrication.

Work Procedures have attachments (drawings,reference material,manhour est.,instructions,safety,parts and material)

Identifying and creating safety critical PM's for input into Maximo.
