Administration & supervision of Contract Department for construction contracts on the Million Ounce Plant Upgrade (MOPU) Project on Lihir Island, Papua New Guinea

At the conclusion of the MOPU Project, transferred to Newcrest Operations on Lihir Island.  Responsible for Project Controls within the Construction/Engineering Department & coordination of Cost Control, Planning/Scheduling & Cost Control

Contract Administration & Planning/Scheduling for various mining projects in North America & Papua new Guinea

Mechanical specifications and data sheets, design of mechanical component and piping systems.

Schedule planning and development of projects Master schedules

Manage sub-contractor schedule

Develop and distribute project status reports and S Curves

Conduct schedule closeout

1. Project Planning, Monitoring and Reporting for Green Anode Plant & Butts Crushing Plant for Alumina Smelters
2. Monitoring of Various Discipline works including Mechanical Equipments, Piping, Electrical Works, Civil & Structural Steel, Fire Fighting & HVAC Works and liaising Coordination among all
3.  Coordinating with Subcontractors for Daily Progress Monitoring
4. Preparation of Forecast Schedule for Pre-Operational Verification and Commissioning Activities for final handing over
5. Delay analysis and trouble shooting on Weekly basis and timely al

·         Developed a Level 4-5 Schedule for construction

·         Producing a 1-2 week look ahead for construction on a weekly basis

·         Producing SMPP Daily and Weekly targets in accordance to the Baselines schedule and Scope of work to be completed on contractual dates
