Working as an auditor for the Government Accountability Office since 2001. Perform cost, schedule, and EVM assessments of major weapon systems, NASA, Department of Homeland Security, and other civil agency programs. Proficient in life cycle cost estimating, earned value management and scheduling. Authored best practice guides in cost estimating, scheduling, technology readiness assessments, and soon will publish a best practices guide on using the Agile method for development.
Working as a performance auditor for the Government Accountability Office (GAO). Manage a group of auditors who specialize in cost estimating, scheduling, and earned value management (EVM). Audits are requested by the United States Congress through legislative mandates or formal request letters. Findings related to each audit are discussed in formal GAO reports that are publicly available on www.gao.gov.

Achievements
• Lead a team of 12 planners to oversee a portfolio of over 14000 project schedules across 27 technologies.
In this role I was responsible for ensuring development of a team of planners to improve the delivery of the program of work and associated planning activities and inter-relationships with other business units and delivery partners. This involved being hands on in building schedules from first principles and using continuous improvement in the estimation and forward planning of all projects.
Delivering a mobile infrastructure network for Telecom NZ, I was responsible for process improvement to logistics and project management systems. I also project managed bespoke solutions and designs as well as assisted in the development of a logistics forecasting system.
