West Coast Route Modernisation Project – (2006-2009) Delivery Manager/Deputy Project Manager, reporting to the Implementation Director South. I was responsible for project delivery in a very challenging environment where schedule, quality of work and the safety of the Contractor’s staff was a constant pressure. I was responsible for all Civil disciplines, but specifically construction, planning, delivery and project controls across multiple contracts.

I joined PB in 2009 as a Senior Project Controls Manager, reporting to the European Operations Director. In this Corporate Leadership role, I spent my first 2 years driving a Corporate Change Programme across the UK and Europe business. As part of a major strategic initiative to drive a consistent approach to project delivery across the business lines, I was responsible for developing and implementing key tools that laid the foundations for major change in the business going forward. Specifically, I was responsible for;

I joined Mace in 2013 as Director responsible for the development and delivery of Programme Management services for the business. In line with the company’s 2020 strategic vision, I led the development of the strategy, focussing on securing new major programmes for the business and ensuring that over the next few years we built a cohort of people ready to take on these new challenges. This included major projects in their own right, as well providing consultancy services to infrastructure programmes across a number of industry sectors.
