Worked with companies to develope effective plans for constructing the project and provide input to determine the means and methods necessary to meet project goals.

• Prepare work plan, and  monitor progress, costs and quality of construction works
• Monitor measurements for processing of payments, checking of invoices, endorsing the payments
• Prepare monthly payment forecast and progress reports.
• Subcontract (SC) Post-contract Management including re-measures; SC Liabilities; SC Payment Certificates; SC Variations; SC Contract Charges
• Interaction with Procurement, Stores, and Execution and Planning department

I joined in September 2015 heading up the Major Infrastructure Tracking team, in 2016 we became the Infrastructure and Projects Authority (IPA). I have 27 years experience of major infrastructure working across a variety of sectors for contractor, consultant and client project management teams. 

• Analyze tender project and all documents to assist the manager in preparation of detailed cost estimate.
• Perform detailed unit price analysis for the tender projects.
• Provide cost estimate breakdown to ensure that it is within the target budget.
• Checking Supplier’s material submittals to ensure the project technical specification compliance.
• Requesting quotation from suppliers and negotiate with them on cost and quality to obtain maximum benefits.

Currently lead planning engineer for Laing O’Rourkes’ working on the Hinkley Point Workers Accommodation construction project in Bridgwater. The project is a large scale civil engineering project involving the construction & fit out of 900+ pre-built accommodation modules, large scale amenity building, offices, landscaping & highways works.
