• Interpreting the contract and assisting the proponent dept. in its application.
• Co-ordination of contractual issues/works related to the project.
• Ensuring that clear and accurate records of contractual matters are maintained and to monitor key dates, against dates defined in the main contract and any sub-contracts.

Project Controls Assistant - Scheduling

• Work with the Programme Planning Engineers to build induvidual project plans from first principles using an agreed work breakdown structure to support Project Development Engineers and Major Infrastructure Development Senior Project Managers.
• Coordinate a number of projects with limited complexity and write up with the schedule section for the monthly project controls report.

Project Controls Assistant - Estimating

• Support the preparation of budget estimates for the plant costs and risks and contingency allowance aspects of proposed projects at all stages of development from business case to award construction contracts.
• Assisting in maintaining and updating the eHub cost database to reflect current costs, including extracting actual cost data from complete projects.

Working as a Construction Planner for over three years on three smart motorway projects; I have worked as part of a team to translate the Client's requirements into a delivery strategy. Mapping and then assisting in the management of human (through the effective use of Collaborative Planning sessions) and material resource requirements and sequencing to effectively achieve the end delivery of a project.
