Project management Duties, Contracting and site construction
•Define the strategy for projects construction including establishing the cranage plans, the storage areas, and the movement of materials
•Evaluate the method statements and schedules of the subcontractors and their on site requirements, and include it in the Master CPM schedule
•Develop the overall working programme
•Coordinate with all parties to ensure compliance with the project master programme and the package master programme and to develop recovery programmes when required
•Define the concept for project execution and identification of the project critical path elements
•Define key milestones for programme monitoring purposes
•Developing management tools, in this case ‘critical indicator curves’, ‘resource-weighted’ and ‘cost-loaded’ programmes to identify potential areas of weakness for immediate rectification
•Approve sub-contractor programmes and coordinate with all parties to ensure compliance with the project master programme.
•Time management of EOT Claims submitted by Arabtec.
•Establish the projects procurement and construction / execution strategies, and
Accordingly establish the Project Master Programme, the overall master milestones programme
•Participate in the contractor tender and selection process
•Undertake the full scope of planning management services for the pre-construction, tendering and construction phases
•Overview construction progress to ensure compliance with the strategic development programme
•Programme Management of the EOT’s Claims and the counter-claims related to Consultants and Contactors work.
•Manage “The Lagoons” planning team, consists of planning managers and CAD operators.
•Establish the overall strategies and philosophies of project’s execution, the overall Lev.00 Master Programme (design, packaging. procurement and site construction) including the project’s Infrastructure systems and networks of the project and the Heavy / Light civil works.
•Restructure the WBS and the organization charts
•Restructure the Procurement methodology
•Coordinate activities related to Project logistics, Phasing, Packaging, Service Providers.
•Overall Management of the Corporate Planning Department.
•Define the strategy for projects construction.
•Evaluate the method statements and schedules of the subcontractors.
•Establiah the overall/Strategic working programmes.
•Coordinate with all parties to ensure compliance with the project master programme and the package master programme and to develop recovery programmes when required
•The preparation of the project master project methodologies
•Co-ordinate the subcontractor’s method statements and programmes and incorporate all schedules into the Master CPM schedule
•Chair the weekly progress and coordination meetings for the site engineers
•Establish the project procurement and construction / execution strategies
•Establish and define both the project’s strategic development programme (level 01)
•Develop the project master programme (level 02), coordinating the consultant deliverables and the procurement and construction processes.
•Establish and define the project reporting procedures
•Undertake the full scope of planning management services for the pre-construction, tendering and construction phases
