Started with development of coding structure for consortium and level 3 programs for “Saldanha Mechanical Contractors”, written in Primavera ver 2.b. This contractual program had to be integrated with other contractors on site due to the fast track nature of the project and had to be totally network compatible so that all contractors on site could update one integrated schedule. This schedule became contractual level 3 programs for the consortium.

Site planner for Structural, Mechanical and Piping installation’s on a new process plant and open cast Diamond Mine called Venetia Mine. Fast track project with 27000 tons of structural steel and mechanical equipment. Project scheduling software was Prestge Project Planner and Open Plan. Was responsible for controls and progress measurement of steelwork erection. First introduction to use of bar-code technology through RS232 ports to handheld units to control measure of structural steel erection. Responsible for planning of all ranges of mechanical and plate work items installation.
