Responsible for managing the California High Speed Rail Authority Program Controls Department which included estimators, cost engineers, schedulers and document control staff. Provided day to day project controls support and reporting to successfully provide for California’s transportation future. Provide and implement an integrated system of project controls and reports to manage the $63.4 billion dollar program using a variety of tools including MS SharePoint, Oracle Primavera P6, Oracle Primavera CM 14 and Arc GIS.

Responsible for developing and maintaining the plan in Primavera P6 in producing and managing a robust design process. Including the definition of requirements, scope, assumptions, development phasing, work and asset breakdown and verification and validation regime that result in a safe and affordable design for the High Speed 2 (HS2) and London-West Midlands (LWM) project. As well as managing internal design interfaces between discipline leads & PSC’s Project Coordinators.

Reported to Project Controls Manager for the £23million Edinburgh Tram Design Contract. This involved reporting in both tabular and graphical form the Actual Cost, Forecast and Progress on the various design packages to our Client as well as Senior Management. Co-ordinated the Senior Design Managers and Planners to populate the P3e resource loaded programme which included sub-contractor resources. Conversed with Senior Team Members to control cost and schedule.
