Project Planner and scheduler for Infrastructure projects for Signalling projects, across the North East region of the UK.
My name is Thomas Nicholson, I came to planning in 2005 for Network Rail, went working for a contractor and am now back at Network Rail. I currently plan various multi function projects from bridge re-construction to station builds and varying work inbetween.
Creating and monitoring plans for projects in the North West of the UK by Network Rail. Reviewing contractors plans and feeding back to the project team as required.
The Resource Planner was created as a new position within the company
Given specialist position to manage Scotland East training provision for 500 staff. This responsibility only exists in Scotland
Auditing and evaluating training courses
Designing training plans and courses
Directly manage workload of three assessors & two trainers

Project Planner for Network Rail on the WCRM Rugby Station New Ticket Office project and the Birmingham New Street Gateway Project, Option Development Stage. Producing and progressing costed programmes in liaison with the project manager, engineers and the sub-contractors planner.
