* Employed in Logistics Department of an international construction company, based at Heathrow Airport, engaged on the Terminal 5 project.
Responsibilities: Spanning a diverse spectrum of activities across the project.
> Supervision of four other administration staff.
> Co-ordination of project-wide daily concrete order requirements for a range of
applications, sourced from up to five on-site batchers, plus two off-site suppliers.
> Recording/monitoring/reporting of bulk materials deliveries.
Laing ORourke Principle Planner
I am a Principal Planner my responsibilities include the planning of a number of contracts either at the tender stage, pre-construction stage or onsite in construction.
In the tender stage I am accountable for the production of high level programmes, method statements for the work, site logistics diagrams and site phasing diagrams.
During the pre-construction phase I am responsible for the production of detailed programmes with design and procurement coordinated with the packages of work, ensuring the Client requirements are met.
