The FTN GSMR project is a national programme for the role out of a global system of mobile communications for the railway with a total budget of 1.839bn.

Responsibilities included analysing all forecasting and progress data from 36 freight and train operating companies and ensuring that confirmed information was reflected within the overall project plan. Liaising with the management team to identify problem areas and proposing solutions. Production of internal and external reports, issued to key stakeholders such as First Group and Virgin Trains.
