Tilos and Primavera are two scheduling software with very different goals. Hence it is difficult to compare them as per features. Primavera brings generic scheduling while Tilos is specifically designed for linear location-based projects.
1. How Primavera is best in features when compare to Tilos
Gantt chart editing. This is Primavera's main feature. Tilos Gantt is merely a view and is almost impossible to work with;
Project aggregation. Primavera is good for project portfolio management.

Linear projects (i.e. with location given as station/chainage). With Primavera it is almost impossible to notice two activities at one location.

Then you can be interested in alternative location-based planning software such as DynaRoad for infrastructures and Vico Control for buildings.

What Tilos bring to the table is some physical measure of work that makes sense and can be used to analyze productivity [progress rate] through the slope of the lines on linear diagrams instead of mere passage of time.
Tilos got to be better than CPM such as P6 incapable of modeling volume of work and productivity in a way that make sense. P6 speaks the language of IT people for whom work is hours but in the construction industry hours mean effort not work, effort is related to work through productivity that makes sense such as for the installation of bricks in bricks/hr.
Say you are to install 5,000 bricks with Athos, Porthos and d'Artagnan; Athos can install 30 bricks per hour, Porthos 25 bricks per hour and d'Artagnan 20 bricks per hour. Athos works on weekends 10hrs/day, Porthos at PM Monday to Fridays 4hrs/day while d'Artagnan at AM Wednesdays to Saturdays 6 hrs/day. How you model this on a single activity using P6 and language that makes sense with the model adjusting automatically activity duration as you change start day of activity?
Spider can display linear diagrams and I understand latest versions of Asta PP can.

Mike, if the space at certain place is limited then we create certain material for this space.
When some crew starts to work at this place it consumes this material and releases when finishes their work. Next crew may start to work at the same place only when Space material is available. This is just an example, sometimes space is consumed and released at storages, etc.
We used this technique in shipbuilding and other projects with limited space.
In linear projects everything is much easier, volume lags are most useful.
Primavera P6 is particularly useless at linear projects such as roads and rail.
The main problem with these projects is time/space clash where you cannot do more than one thing at the same time in the same place.
P6 just cannot show when this happens on the programme but software such as Tilos - Vico and even PowerProject in "Line of Balance" mode will show it clearly.
It is best to select the correct software for the project and in my opinion P6 not the best for any project.

I am not sure that P6 can do it but Spider Project models will not permit such situations.
Space constraints are not specific for linear projects and scheduling software shall consider them as all other constraints.
