PEP is a document that describe how to manage the project.

It may cover construction management/method, quality control schedule(time control),contract/procurement control, EHS(saftey),document control.

to support the PEP, there will be more detail documents/precedures for each part.

to confuse

PIP= PEP + Budget

PEP is basically the method statement for the whole project in written format

Below this document (which can get revised as the project enters new phases) sits a whole raft of more detailed document - one of which is PQP. This should detail the procedures and standards which will be used on the project - anything from design safety to goods received at site to billing the client. The best procedure is of course the one on Auditing of Project Quality and Quality Performance - or doesn’t anybody bother measuring Quality (or more important Quality Failure)any more in ther haste to GET THE JOB DONE ANYWAY?

Based on our experience, PQP will be part of PEP
