No impact at all as P3e/P5 assigned max 3 baseline at a time. Actually its four (4) if you include Project Baseline for EV calculation plus Primary, Secondary and Tertiary baseline. It’s just creating another record into PMDB Database same as creating a project.

I was convinced we were limited to a maximum of 50 baselines for a project. So thanks for this info.
Nevertheless, if we are not limited in Baseline creation, could it have an impact on performance of P5 ; in this case, it would be better having a limit.

Yes there are limits depends on your setting on Admin Preferences. To set the limit select Admin-> Admin Preferences then select Data Limits tab.
EPS/WBS tree - 1 to 50
OBS tree - 1 to 25
Resources tree - 1 to 25
Role tree – 1 to 25
Cost Account tree – 1 to 25
Activity Code tree – 1 to 25
Resources Code tree – 1 to 25
Project Code tree – 1 to 25
Maximum Activity Code per project – 0 to 500
Maximum Baseline per project - no limit or up to valid integer value
You can also set the ID code length
