PMP is based upon an American Body of Knowledge and therefore as youd expect, it is more widely recognised in the USA. APM certification is based on a more European Body of Knowledge and so it is more recognised in Europe. Both cover the same general areas of PM but use different acronyms and wording. I personally think there is no benefit of choosing one over the other. Ritesh,
Both certifications are widely acceptable.
