I was too quick with my reply, as you say those of course relate to what you can do within the existing EPS. But also under the Project Profiles there are two "Edit EPS" privileges. I logged on as a user without those and sure enough all of the icons under Enterprise/Enterprise Project Structure (except Copy, Help and of course Close) were greyed out. So that seems to be it.

Thanks for the suggestion, but I already tried those. I am already able to add and delete projects within the existing EPS, but I am not able to modify, add or delete elements or nodes of the EPS.
According to the database and application administrator, I have the necesary rights to modify the EPS, but for some reason I cant. I have downloaded the user manual and looked through all the user priviledges, but it is not clear which privilege allows modification of the EPS.

If thats the case, it would be within your Security Project Profile. There are two privileges, one for "Create Project within EPS", the other for "Delete Project within EPS".
