How to Delete a set of resources for a particular block

Hi Rob,



when you select and remove will this not remove the resources from the other activities, it is ok if we have allocated these resources to the only block we want to remove, what if the same resources is also assigned to other set of block of activities....



never tried it but this is my querry

Hi to all

Check this one works or not

Go to Tools select Global change

Add a new filter

Set the following formula 1 in {Change option}

If RES EQ Planner

Then RES EQ DELETE

Use use Selection option to select particular WBS to delete resource of your choice

OR

Set the following formula 2 in {Change option}

If RES EQ Planner

Then RES EQ " "

are you talking about p6 or p3?

Select the block of activities with the resources you want to remove.



On the right hand side of the screen click on the Assign Resources Button.



In the new pop window, click on the resource you want to remove.



Now Click on the remove button (Its the one with a red x)



That should do it!
