Yes, you are right. Excel will make life much easier. But, apparently you are not aware of Activity.xls & Project.xls (Excel RAs) which are really powerful in importing & exporting data between excel & P3.
They can be used to write/delete/edit data for either activity level or project level within no time.
Have fun.

All have guided you in right direction about solving your problem. I am only suggesting that when have some more experience in P.3; learn the way of export/import.
By using that method one can export all the activities list down in P3 of one floor/segment to MS Excel 2003 than do the "Edit" in the file; save as in DBF format;than import the activities for the other floors.
It appears bit complex but if you have learned that way than from activities, links, duration, resources, cost etc... you can import typical/non-typical segments/floors in quick and better professional way.
If you need any help in this regard please feel free to contact me.

Further to Sajids Fragnet, you can make several fragnets as to what is suitable in your requirement. It is advisable for a fragnet to at least have two open ends only which are the predecessor of the starting fragnet activities and the successor of the latest fragnet activities. That idea is for you to save time in manually linking those repetitive set of activities to its corresponding predecessors and successors per floor level of your project.
Spend more time in making your fragnets to be complete with activity codes, placeholders, proper activity relationships, etc. so that youll save time and effort in its tens or hundreds times of repetitive utilization. See the P3 help about fragnets and youll find out more.

Hi Ammu
Make use of FRAGNET. Here are the steps to follow
1. Select all activities that you want to repeat for each floor
2. Go to Tools>Fragnet>Store Fragnet
3. Give an ID & a description to your fragnet
4. Now you can use this set of activities anytime by Retrieve Fragnet command.
Hope this info is usefull to you.
