I suspect that you have a computer with the Vista operating system and you installed P3 in the C:\Program Files\ directory. P3 installs their working directory in a \P3OUT subdirectory. Vista will not let anyone other than the Administrator write to anything installed under C:\Program Files\. Thus, P3 is unable to create temporary files because the operating system will not let it.
The solution is to uninstall and re-install where P3 was designed to be installed, in C:\P3WIN\. Next time you have a problem and need help, you should tell us more than just what the error message said. It makes things easier. Good luck!

Possibly you have ran out of space in your drive where the P3out file is located, that is why this message is coming, free some of your disk space and try again.

Really a very great explanation , now i can remember i had the same problem when i had vista .
Do you know why P3 Hang up when i try to add a Predecessor to an activity in the pred,successor dilaog box??
