Thanks for your response Muhammad, but the problem has been fixed by uninstalling both programmes, and installing P3 first before installing P6. Cheers...

... and i have just installed p3, but it appears not to have been installed properly cos i cant seem to find the icon, and it pops up with an error message that Btrieve is currently in use.. Please someone should come to my rescue...
