You can copy a project group as a project into another project group. It will be possible to export the three P5-Projects to P3. You’ll have 3 project groups. Then copy those P3-projects into a fourth (new) Project. To this for the complete life of your projects will be a horror.
It is a break of structures. In any case you’ll loose informations.
Maybe another solution will help: I suppose, planners in construction area want to keep their old P3 and reporting has to be done in P5. In such cases -if it’s not possible to convince old planners that a common solution is better, I let them schedule in P3, import with "update" into P5 and do the reporting. Import then only will be one-way and with reliable results.
