To see the resource table, there is no need to use filter. In fact even when you use a filter, the table will still show all the resources. But that should not be problem- just look at the row (resource) you are intrested in.

Create a filter with resource equals painters then go to View and Resource Table. Use the display option to modify personal options like time intervals of 1 week.
