In "Open a Project" window you will see three buttons- Oveview, Option and Access at the bottom. Just click Access. Now you can make necessary change. Read Write for yourself and Read Only or Restricted for EVERYONE. (ALL OTHERS is the term in other programme).

It is more to do with the access control. If not already done, using NETSET assign username (and password) for yourself in P3. Make you the OWNER of the project (i.e, you have full access). Add the ALL OTHERS eith READ ONLY access. This way nobody except you can change your filter setting.

this is about locking the filter...so that others cant run the filter...

After applying the filter save the layout (view--> layout--> save as).
